About the Clinic
Kavet- Veterinārā klīnika Rīgā

The veterinary clinic "Kavet" was established in 1997 by a team of doctors with the aim of combining achievements in veterinary and sports medicine. The clinic's task is to help clients' pets using the latest advancements in treatment and rehabilitation. In the treatment of animals, we apply widely accepted protocols, combining them with modern biologically active preparations and regenerative medicine methods.

The “Kavet” clinic specializes in oncology, immunology, reproduction, ophthalmology, traumatology, and physiotherapy. In these areas, we also use knowledge and experience gained from internationally recognized partners. We have entered into cooperation agreements with the Riga Reproduction Center, the Latvian Medical Academy, the Eye Microsurgery Center in Riga, the St. Petersburg Veterinary Academy, the Oncology Center of Kiev City, the Russian Center for Regenerative Medicine, the Stem Cell Bank “Imunolit” in Vilnius, the “Pharmex-Group” pharmaceutical factory in Kiev, the V. Skulachev Institute of Bioenergetics in Moscow, and the V.I. Kulakov Scientific Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Perinatology in Moscow (under the leadership of academician G.I. Sukhikh).

Thanks to the application of the latest bio-preparations and methods that affect protein structures’ ability to influence cellular processes, we help restore the quality of life for animals even in severe cases, especially with oncological diseases. Additionally, excellent results are obtained by supplementing with physiotherapy aids and rehabilitation programs. For disease diagnostics, the clinic utilizes general clinical examinations, ultrasonography, echocardiography, radiography, radioscopy, and other methods. In cases of oncological diseases, patented oncology tests are also used for additional diagnostics.

The “Kavet” Veterinary Clinic always strives to provide comprehensive assistance to its patients. Therefore, modern methods and bioactive preparations are developed, and a day hospital, trainers, hydrotherapy, and various physiotherapy aids are available. We have a pool with a treadmill that can be adapted to the needs and load requirements of each patient. Additionally, the pool features a special adjustable device that allows the animal to gradually get used to the water and treadmill, thus reducing the potential stress from the exercise.

Successful local and international cooperation has resulted in the creation, registration, and patenting of a range of preparations from biologically active substances, as well as methods for their application, particularly preparations from human placenta and juniper wood elements. The scientific work results of the clinic’s team have also been presented at international conferences. Thanks to our work and experience, we are recognized throughout the Baltic States, Denmark, Greece, France, Russia, and Ukraine. Negotiations are underway to open a branch in China.
